I appreciate your sense of value… and I don’t mean in dollars and cents. I live in Southwestern Ontario, an area dotted with derelict houses and barns as the farming community here, which once was omnipresent, has now given way to factory farms. Driving down any road, you can find these historical gems subsiding to the elements. The Amish and Mennonites however, in a swath from Kincardine to Kitchener (Google map it), are reclaiming quite a bit of land deemed unsuitable for million dollar tractors and liquid manure. Mixed farming is not quite dead yet.
